    Foreword

    Hi!
    In this last month i worked on a (potential) Nds Pokemon Rom Editor.
    I focuzed mainly on Map editing, and in this mini-version we can edit Movement and Models(Houses and other 3d stuff unlinked with main Model map) of DPP and HGSS Map( BW support may be inserted in future beta)
    I don't promise to release other beta, because on thursday starts uni, so...
    But i hope to work on it in the future.
    The program is written with Visual Basic 2010 Express Edition.

    Feature

    - Open and edit DPP, HGSS Map Model and Movement.

    How to Use

    [*] First go to File Menu and Open your Narc. (You must rename the map narc file land_data.narc or hg_land.narc if you wanna edit respectively DPP or HGSS map)[*] Now you can see a tree node that rapresent narc. Click on +, select and after double-click on map you wanna edit. If you do this correctly, the button Map became usable.[*] When you click on Map, a new window appeared.
    Here there's a coloured 0-matrix map that rapresent the movement permission. Every colour rapresent different movement.
    In this beta the tool recognize only these movement.

    • Grass: ForestGreen Color
    • High Grass: DarkGreen Color
    • Free Passage: Green Color
    • No Passage: Red Color
    • Snow: White Color
    • Surf: Blue Color
    • All the other movement: Gray Color.

    For edit a movement, select the 0 that you wanna edit, right click and choose the new movement.
    We can also edit Model data.
    The model are listed with the Num Button: change Num and you change model to edit.
    You can't add new model for now.
    To save all the edit click to Write button ( for see the new change you must reopen the map).
    The button show give you a preview of model position in the map. If you click Show you must'nt then Write (or your movement will messed). So if you wanna see the new model position, previously Write, then close, then reopen map, and at least click Show.

    That's all for now.

    Good job. Looks good so far, but it looks kinda confusing.

    yeah after i used on my SS Rom yeah is working but sometimes is not working (yeah i know why is not working so is my fault XD). for now is just movement only, not fully editing map texture/layout XD

    I know, Is only a beta for now.
    Why is confusing? I tried to make the interface easy to use...
    Any suggestion about this?

    I use Richtextbox for the pre-stabilished matrix, because I try to make a graphical table, but it was too complicate...
    Someone could suggest me a better way to display and edit a matrix?(Visual Basic)

    What exactly makes it cancerous? Because it gets more developer/hacker attention that whatever shitty game you want translated ever will? Sorry about that...
