Gaming Nintendo Entertainment System Nintendo Switch Online - unable to launch

I've this update installed on my switch which is running with SX OS: Nintendo_Entertainment_System_Nintendo_Switch_Online_Update_v2.5.0
The thing is when I try and run it to play the games it says I have to 'Link to a Nintendo Account' and can't get pass this message, of course I do not intend to go online to link it... I've unlinked my user to Nintendo long time ago when I started using SX OS and had no problems with it thus far. Is there a way to play this games or not ?

backup your saves and use this https://gbatemp.net/threads/kefir-updater.539086/ but back up your saves as it deletes them it overwrites your current profile on your switch with one with a fake linked account should run then
