These are not "simply games".They are a nice form of entertainment that people enjoy.

I KNOW, I too enjoy video games, but some of you are acting as if it's the end of the world that this conference didn't announce your favorite video game that you've been waiting for for 'Ever and Ever'. I mean, I know that video games are very fun and all, but live a life for once, people! Grow up and mature to realize the fact that video games aren't everything.

If it makes you feel any better I'm totally with you on this one. People just love to complain, that's all.

I'll just be laughing on Thursday when Nintendo actually DOES announce the killer title or something - and people will still complain about it.

I know I'm the new guy... so no one will likely listen to me.

But I want to point out that since about two years ago, when they killed the original E3.. That E3 hasn't been for the gamers.

It's for the World Wide Press and for Investors and Marketers.

That's why Microsoft and Nintendo's Confrences wern't that great.

Investors don't give a slag about Halo or Mario or Zelda. They know they'll sell by the truckloads. They want to see the more... scary products that may not sell so much.

These confrences arn't ment for us gamers, pure and simple.

And Nintendo has pretty much quit using E3 as a launch piece anyways. They've been using other shows and Famitsu and such to spread their news, as they are a more.. Word of Mouth company.

Sony, with it's recent problems with the PS3 had to have an amazing showing for the investors, or they would be screwed.. pure and simple. And again.. notice that Sony didn't mention more then one game for the PSP *The PS2 has more upcomming releases than the PSP does*. They had to show investors something. But on the same hand.. They didn't show Killzone 2.. One of the Titles expected to sell a truckload of copies.



To sum it up. These confrences arn't for us.. Infact I'm pretty sure they are streamed from places like IGN and G4 now more out of Habbit then expecting anything real to come up.

Yeah, I've gathered enough to see that all of it is just to be able to whine outside of real life. Here, it's like an open city.
