Hacking [Nintendo DS Lite] Silicone or Polycarbonate Case Protector?

I am going to buy some protection for my NDSL but I don't wich I should use. What's better a silicone or a polycarbonate protector? I mean this kind of protector wich you can play with. Both have the same price.

Hope you can give me some advice.
