So streams from official Nintendo creators program are ban-able however streams from other people are not.
Is it me or is Nintendo worried that maybe one of its creators might cause something like the recent pewdipie incident. They don't want to be associated to someone who could accidently slip up on stream with something they don't approve of, like saying a racial slur or saying that a certain game company is better than Nintendo.
the thing is though is that could still happen in a video and get out large before they can cut off ties with them quickly

the thing is, most creators would probably catch and edit the slip-up when or after recording getting a second chance unlike in stream. I'm honestly opposed to what Nintendo is doing here but I do see some worry in this angle.

What happened in the latest Pewdiepie incident though?

I heard about this, it's absolutely pathetic - can't they just try to monetise off the stream content rather than block it altogether? I don't see the problem with that, but blocking streamers is ridiculous. If you seriously want to be taken seriously you'd allow such things, it helps promote your product too...

As long as they are only banning people associated to the creators program, every other streamer should be safe with their Nintendo content. I do feel sorry for them though since they signed up mostly to show Nintendo related videos when they were only allowed with the creators program during the wiiu era, and now they are being limited when others are not.

Okay. I am honestly worried for Nintendo. I love Nintendo and I will always stick with them. But why are they doing this? What motivates them to ban anything that you-tubers do?

While a commentary can push it into fair use territory it is not inherent to the format.

Equally what happened to "never attribute to malice what can adequately be explained by stupidity"?

I have to call that a 50/50; some people talk during streams, other people don't.

Trump.

Because they don't like anyone else besides them earning money in the gaming industry. They're like mister crabs from spongebob.

How is that a good decision that Nintendo bans all live streams on YouTube that are Nintendo games ?
Bans streamers associated to them

I think it's because a lot of people are getting stuff earlier (pirated or not) and streaming that ...
Others hack their consoles (soft or hardware) to be able do stream
tehre also emulators...
but I think it's something too extreme... I mena , they could to hackers and leakers but why to ban common game stream ? :/
