Hi,
I was wondering about if I got banned for hacking online on MKWii,
Would that affect all the wii's connected to the same network?.

Isn't the MAC code a code related tot one hardware item, in this matter your Wii? So therefore Every Wii had it's own MAC code I guess ...

Ok, when you get ban, you get the error code 20102 when you try to go on wifi. There 2 different types of ban. The SN ban, and the MAC ban. Mdmwii, a great code creator, found a way to bypass, well, change the SN of the wii permanently. There is no way to bypass the MAC permenatly though.

Yes. It could be written on a MKWii iso instead of using an ocarina code.

Following procedure will make MAC spoofer permanent on your MKWii ISO without using Gecko OS or Ocarina:

1. Open your MKWii iso using WIIScrubber or Trucha Signer
2. Extract 'main.dol' located on 'Partition 2 - DATA' to Desktop
3. Open 'main.dol' using a hex editor (Hedit, WinHex and so on...)
4. Search for "7F83E37838A00006"
5. Change '06' to '03'
6. Save 'main.dol'
7. Replace 'main.dol' on Partition 2 - Data with your hex-edited 'main.dol'
8. Save ISO
9. Enjoy your MAC Spoofed MKWii version

I didn't test but it should work. Beta testers are welcome.

If it works then it could be done on EVERY game of EVERY region.

The MAC address is tied to a NIC, in this case the WiFi card. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAC_address

Lol i have been banned and unbanned myself 3 or 4 times now, funny thing is i only use cheats on private games with my friends who are all using the same cheats as me. Believe me sometimes cheats can enhance the gameplay experience. Some of my friends have been banned and others have never been banned. But even if u do get banned is easy to un-ban yourself.

Since the SN Ban is useless now, does that mean Nintendo only gives out MAC bans? That's the only reason I can see that there would even be two types of bans.
