ok, so I would like a product like
Doctor V64 or V64jr by Bung,
the CD64 by UFO Company,
or the Z64 by Interesting Devices
While I would love to have any one of these products, but they tend to run at a minimum of 100 dollars. I would like to find one for 50 dollars or less, find a schematic, or find a broken one for about 15-25 bucks.
Does anyone know where I could find something matching any of these descriptions? Or is anyone willing to make a schematic from theirs?(for science???)

Not even a schematic? :<

I would experiment with my CD-Drives and what I assume each flash cart does, but that is a huge pain and this would be a thousand times faster.

There are 3 other flash carts out there: Neo Myth 64, EverDrive 64, Retroactive 64Drive.

Yes, they're all over $100 but worth it. No, you won't find anyone who will give you a schematic.

The Everdrive 64 is sightly under 100$ is you take the bare PCB, then you'll have to solder the CIC + use the case from the game you took the CIC off.

Are there any tutorials available on how to solder the CIC? "Why pay 30 dollars more when I can sacrifice one very common N64 game that costs a few bucks and use that instead?" is what I am thinking.

The CIC is just 16 rather big pins to solder, there's no tutorial as far as I know, but if you're ready to use your soldering iron, you might want to check assemblergames (google it) that's where krikzz's offical forums are located, so you can get some help from the maker of the everdrive in person.
