As long as the DLC isn't on the cart (coughSamuraiWarriors) then I don't see what's so bad about it.

Wasn't this done in FFIV- The Years After? I know there are sidequests you can download for 200 points each.

I think the difference is that it's open to all games, and third parties have no restrictions

And as long some is free(50/50?),fairly price, good quality,DRM and doesn't make means of holding things on purpose to make you pay more and then have it made in another game anyway.

Bad or good? Let see what devs do.

FFIV: The After Years was basically released in chapters. Once you bought them all, you had the whole game.

Kinda caught that. Anyways, that's weird. But it's kinda like other DLC games. Kinda. But I hope you can use prepaid credit cards, because I find it annoying that you can't on the eShop.

Sure but they'll have to actually have games to have DLC for.

    LOL this [IMG]

The idea sounds good to me, as long as they price it reasonably.

Anyway homebrew can basically do it, so it would be stupid for them not to.

    This is great.
Imagine you bought a game and it has some bug that needs to be fixed, so instead of buying a new game you can simply update that one!
Also DLC could be used to add new levels, characters etc.

I'm sure the top part is sarcasm...

Anyway, ninty made it quite clear that they 'fussy' when it comes to quality

everyone says they are late and all but remember their new consoles started this year so obviously the new features would begin in this year
they previously had ds/dsi and wii that are old hardware hence they did not want to put something big.
is it not logical that now they put it rather than them being late in implementing it
