Nintendo 3DS record sales to be unveiled on April 14

Media found out from Nintendo that the 3DS launch had been very successful and had set a record for the best first-day sales in the history of the company. In its try to dampen concerns related to the black screen of death, the company has announced the sales were the highest of any hand-held system made by Nintendo in its whole history. It also mentioned that there were significantly fewer problems than for usual launches. Detailed figures related to the launch would be released on the 14th of April.[/p]

I suspect the 3DS sales will beat launch sales in June if Nintendo plans it right since most are waiting until Zelda and all that.
