So once again, another Nintendo development unit is on sale at eBay Canada.

But this time it's a real 3DS Dev unit.
There are some preloaded apps on the 3DS (see the pictures)

There is only a 12 hours left before the auction ends...!
But it's about $2000 :/
(Frontpage news?)

Btw, it's also a Black+Red version!

So, any thoughts about this unit?

I'd love to say this thing would be a useful benefit to the homebrew community, but unless there is a way to interact with it code-wise, it's merely a neat collectors item.

This looks to be equally as useless as the other dev units sold on ebay and not worth fussing over (and certainly not worth the outrageous price).

You can't play regular 3DS or DS games on the device... So I'm sure you will be able to interact with code-wise on this device... Otherwise, what kind of a purpose is this device made for?

Yea it is made for code, but from what I've haerd this is only half of what you need, since you need the pc dev kit to connect to it.

So....
I think this device (with preloaded dev stuff) has never seen before.
The other 3DS's didn't have such apps on it.

I wonder what the apps actually do when you load them

Unless you have the SDK, it is next to useless.
