The Nintendo claim that the 2DS support 3DS games,I think the flashcart will support it too.
But we don't know if Nintendo will upgrade the version number and block the current flashcards.
2DS and 3DS are the SAME but unfoldable, no 3d, and $40 cheaper.Has anyone actually tried a flashcard on a 2DS?

I thought so. Mileage may vary though given this is a pretty subjective measurement. Not to mention manufacturing tolerances can create different color temperatures in different samples of the same model screens. One clear advantage of the 2DS, certainly, is that because of a single screen covering both panels, there can be no temperature difference between panels on a single unit.Great overview, Snailface! Would you say DS games look better than when played on 3DS and 3DSXL? Also, if you ever tried them old machines, how does it compare to playing on DS Lite or DSiXL? The reduced gap between screens should help a lot for some games.

Is it possible to have an emulator 2DS or 3DS before 2015?
Honestly the comfort is somewhere like this: XL > 2DS > Gamepad > OGHey Snailface, how comfy would you say it is in your hands when gaming? I was thinking it probably feels similar to the Wii U pad.

The shoulder buttons are comfy but a little too close to the face controls, and I have small hands. The D-pad could be a little bigger and less stiff, too.
Its still feels nice overall though.
GBA. Nothings clicky except for the Home and Power buttons. The shoulder buttons are kind of a mix: spongy then clicky at the end.Does it have clicky face buttons or like GBA buttons?

Sorry, I had a bad case of forum blindness D:I thought so. Mileage may vary though given this is a pretty subjective measurement. That said, I don't think it compares well to original DS(i) machines because they can display full screen without any filtering.

LOL, so Nintendo went really lazy with the 2DS. I would probably buy it if only it was at $100.
