How can I know what system version it is? I checked the product details but it doesnt say anything about that

But the second device requires to be hacked already! If the second system is 11.4 aswel?

One more thing no one mentioned yet: (Yeah, it's in the guide, but maybe you haven't looked there yet.) To hack a 11.4 system by using and already hacked system, you have to buy a DSI game.

If it is brand new never opened it will be on a lower firmware. Second hand or refurbished then there's no way to know without asking the seller.
