Just played Ninokuni, but currently I don't know how to save (Other than using RTS). I don't know any Japanese, so I can't find the save point. Is there even a save point in the demo version? Also, in the demo I have gotten up to the castle thingy, but can't seem to get in. Does the demo go any further than that?

The end of the demo is the castle. Make sure you break all the barrels/jars in the town and talk to everyone. You'll end up helping a few people out and giving items you collected to certain people. You'll know a specific towns person is able to be helped when, while talking to them, two options pop up on the screen. Select the first of the two.
