yes that is what Im asking, to import the save file to the catridge with gateway menu, will this work?? I have gateway red card and OoT so gateway menu loads in my n3ds xl.

I don't see why it wouldn't. Boot up Savedatafiler, inject it and give it a try. Couldn't do any harm.

Or put the save file on the root of your card, and use save data restore in the Gateway menu.

yes, It worked! by gateway menu´s restore savegame feature.
