I know this is an flash cart but I need some help.
this may sound like a stupid question but how do you update the loader version?

Every time I add a new upload, I place the loader.nds on the root of the sd card. When I boot up it still says Loader version 1.0.
what am I doing wrong? I would like to use a 8gb mini sd card but its not working, and Im thinking I need to update the version from 1.0
but Im not sure how to do this. How do you get 1.1 or even 1.2?

could someone shine some light on this for me?

thanks

I...don't think most newer games are going to work with that cart. You sure you don't want to look into a newer alternative? Even an R4 would be sufficient.

I ask for a help and you all go off topic. Other then AGLCB..

Have you ever thought that not everyone has money to burn on new stuff? Its why I want to update the firmware on this one.

I know! If you all really want me to get an R4 why dont you donate some money so I can get one!!!

I guess Ill try to email the main site since no one here knows anything.

Not everyone is looking to play commercial ROMs...
I'm sure even homebrew compatibility has taken a major hit. I doubt some homebrews made in 2011 will work on a flashcart made in 2006/7, that hasn't had a firmware update since 2007.
And considering the R4 is like $3 + shipping, I don't see how you couldn't afford it. http://shoptemp.net/products/R4-DS-Revolution.html

2.79 from Lightake, no tax + free shipping. Just gotta wait forever for it to come from china

That flash cart is freaking ancient. I'd help you, but I have no experience whatsoever with that cart. I'd say go buy an R4 original and put WoodR4 on there, really helps out with compatibility - homebrew and commercial backups.

oh, memories...

I used to have that flaschard... I bought it instead of a supercard because the name sounded cooler... and it was a piece of sh!t... lol

I remember that I had to abuse of the sleep mode of the DS to complete the first Ace Attorney game, because the stupid flashcard randomly corrupted my save file If I saved during the chapters, so I played the whole first AA game playing the whole chapters non-stop.

Anyway, to return to topic, I think this is the latest loader of the card

I remember it was easy to install, I guess you just have to replace the proper files on the microSD you're using.
