So cheap! I'll wait for your review, but I can form a good image already from the member reviews here on GBAtemp.
Maybe I'll pick one up too, probably more for the video/audio purpose, but also to play some classic games on it.
So cheaply, that's just awesome! But I would definitely purchase it if it had a N64 emulator too. Would that be possible?

N64 emu should be possible, cause PSX emulation is already in the works.

No.

N64 and PSX are nothing alike.

Yes, there's an early PSX emulator for the Dingoo, but framerate is very slow and it'll stay like that. It doesn't have enough hardware.

Is PSX emulation possible?

Yes.

Is it playable?

I don't think so.

You don't even have enough buttons, anyway. What's the point?

this looks like a fantastic hardware esp since it's just 80$ and mostly games are played are of gba and snes so maybe later there maybe be a way to update it or something to improve on tht
definitely fantastic to have it connected to the TV and plays almost eveything u would wish to play
and also, the design is very fantastic and i just wish the device is improved a bit in terms of it's compatibility and tht it should atleast play psx if not n64 (if it's possible i would really be happy as this has caught my attention very much though i could do tht on a DS when i learn how to a few years later)

the website has been nearly unreachable due to massive influx of visitors (I don't think I need to remind you the reasons for this influx).

What happened?

Depends on the game, I'm guessing that for FFVII it wouldn't really matter for 90% of the experience. For other games like Nectaris, Front Mission 3, Ogre Battle or the Arc games I don't think frame rate could be an issue.

Shaun: That thinG looks as sexy as my ex girfriend with 20 pounds less and a good body (actually, she did have a good body). I look forward to read your opinion.

We're talking about a VERY LOW framerate here.

And that's probably as fast as it's gonna get.

that is slow, really slow
im not sure if i should get it now

Hey, don't get me wrong. It's a great device. There are plenty of emulators and uses for it.

But the whole "N64/PSX emu should be possible" thing is bullshit. Maybe I'm wrong and some h4xor dude might eventually find a way to do it and prove me wrong. But I believe there's no way the Dingoo will ever emulate those systems properly.

Dear GBAtemp members and readers,
these past few days have been difficult for all of us as the website has been nearly unreachable due to massive influx of visitors (I don't think I need to remind you the reasons for this influx). However rest assured that we are well aware of the situation and are already at work.[/quote]

I must have missed it... Why has the site been so slow?

4 really hyped up DS titles hit last week. Probably the best titles in whole 2009, and everyone wanted to play them.
They were Pokemon SoulSilver and HeartGold (Japanese), Scribblenauts (USA) and Mario and Luigi 3 (USA).
Everyone F5-ed all the time to see if they were dumped. And then there were some people who started translations on Pokemon and that way, the server couldn't handle all the refreshings, posts and new topics being made.

Aw too bad. If it could emulate N64 and PSX games properly, I would have bought it.
Also, I don't suppose it supports browsing on the internet via WiFi?

Wow, that is painfully slow.
Here's a video I uploaded two years ago of the same thing running on the original GP2X console:
