Hacking newbie

Hey I thinking of getting a Wii soon but I don't want to buy one if I can't run homebrew without a chip. I'm hearing that the Twilight Hack is my way to go, but I'm paranoid about bricking $279.99.

1. Is the Twilight Hack going to brick my Wii at all?
2. Can I run WiiWare games without a chip?
3. I want to go online and not get baned.
4. Whats a good loader for Wii?

If by loader you mean to play backed up games, you're out of luck. You need to chip your Wii for that.
