Please excuse me and correct me if I'm using the wrong terms, I don't really know what I'm doing.
I just installed B9S on a "new" o3DSXL for my son. He wanted all the save games from his "old" o3DS that I had previously updated (running ALH9 maybe?). So I used "System Restore" to transfer the saved data from the "old" o3DS. Anyway, the "new" system (o3DSXL) works fine but the "old" system (o3DS) doesn't work. All installed software (games and utilities like homebrew, FBI, etc) are gone from the "old" system. The "old" system will boot to Luma3DS 6.2.2 or will boot to Hourglass 9 v1.20 and will boot to regular 3DS home but I'm not sure how else I can do anything with it. To do the "System Restore", I had to update it to 11.4 so now I can't do SoundHax to get HomeBrew installed. How should I go to fix this? I probably have backups if I need to restore (was at 9.2 I think when I did the Luma3DS).
Let me know thanks. And if you do have suggestions, assume I know nothing!
I was thinking maybe I should just to "A9LH to B9S" update but figured I'd ask before I do the wrong thing.
