You can download the German,if you copy/past the link.
But the wbfs-tool-English.zip and the wbfs-tool-German.zip are 100% the same. (same hashes)

does the renaming work on other systems or only on mine???

next version i will include chaing of game id, because it's needed for custom disks (guitar hero and so..)

I too can't use the rename

could you please confirm what it renames :
the original iso (the filename) ? (I know it wouldn't make sense, but I am just teasing

the original iso (the header) ? so we need to do it prior to adding a game to the WBFS partition ?
the extracted iso ?
the game on the wbfs ?

I have full access on my comp, running XP
when I click rename I get a message
"renaming a WBFS Game directly on the disk
Be careful, direct disk access candamge Data"

remarks : candamge -> can damage

nothing happens if I click on OK or Cancel

have you modified the WBFS.exe ? or is it the delta ?
if you have modified the wbfs.exe would you mind giving us the command line option to rename a game on the wbfs partition ?

Cheers,
R

But FYI, it doesn't work on my other pc which has vista-64bit installed.

I rename directly the data on the wbfs partion!

I open the drive via winapi directly an modify the name in there...

Maybe i need to add some debbuging information so i can track down the problem!

By the way, in the current version the renaming of the first game in the list wont work!

1.0.6 seems buggy. on Windows 7, it rename the first file i tried but after that its not doing any renaming. seems to have a mind of its own.. i pick a game to rename and it seems to picking a diff game, sometimes shows a blank name.. in either case does not actually do the rename.

First; Thank You jogibear for your work on this tool.
Second; I can not get this to work and I need some help please!

I have a 232gig usb drive by Simpletech. I've formatted the drive to fat32 using fat32format file and named it wii n:, I've also tried taking wii out and just leaving it n: Using your wbfs-tool v1.06 I can see my n: drive and it says no WBFS filesystem found! So I press init and I get the warning and press yes and it disappears, nothing happens. I've also tried it in safemode because I had to go into safemode in order to format the drive because some other process was using it and I could not figure out what. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

@twtcad

once you have hit "init", click on the drive selector again, choose a diffrent one, then choose your drive you had "init"ed, should now show up as a wbfs
