nice jogibear! What are the chances of being able to extract the iso from the rar files and convert to the wbfs file? I'm sure that is asking a lot, just curious as I have about 30 games to go in this format.

My WBFS Disk has a Sector size of 512 and i use this to calculate the address of the gamename.

Maybe your WBFS Disk has another cluster size???

But i don't know if it is possible to create an other cluster size!

jogibear..........loving your WBFS Tool.........is there anyway to make the window sizable? Basically allow the user to change the size of the window by grabbing the corner? Sorry, I know nothing about coding!

games show in wbfs tools but not in wii usb loader

is the loader giving you an error like; Could not initialize USB subsystem! (ret = -1) ? I was getting -6 until I realized I had never installed the cIOS36_rev9-Installer. Now everything is working great and I'm ripping games to the hd now.
no loader 1.1 works fine if game ripped through wii. but does not see games i ripped trough pc

Well, I have not seen that; but I'm a total noob to this.
Are you xp or vista? Did you format NTSF or Fat32 before you WFBS Tool init the drive? Were you able to init through WFBS Tool or dos command? These are just questions that I can think of that might help the more experienced peeps here.........good luck!

I have the same problem.

I'm using: USB loder 1.1, (starting up as a channel)
I have a: PAL Wii, Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit (running in administrator mode)
Disk is an: Samsung Laptop sized disk with a sharkoon case around it that uses power over USB.
Disk setup: 120 GB partitioned in 2 partitions one labeled H and the other is for Wii games, size 20 GB.

Here's what I found out so far.
If I format the drive trough the Wii it works without problems. I can dump my games on it and they run without problems. If I then want to use the drive on my PC it can't find the patition and says it's accoladeed space (none partition) So formating trough the Wii makes it unusable for PC in any program.

Then I reformat the partition to Fat32, Label it with: N an let it init with your program. Dumping iso's works like it should, no problems so far. If I connect it to the Wii USB loader says that there are no usable partitions an want to create one.

Any thoughs about this problem?

Yes.

Im not the only person with this same problem.

I have got my hard drive about 50GB.

One game ripped through the Wii which is Mario Kart, and 2 games transfered through the PC. Mario Kart is the only one that shows up in the USB Loader. But when i plug the hard drive back into the PC, the 2 games i ripped earlier show up in the WBFS tool, but Mario Kart does not!

Awesome app dude!
Thanks jogibear!

USE Maximillions WBFS Gui TOOL its way better for partitions i have E as my WBFS and H as my FAT32 for Roms, media ect... and have about 13 games on my partition all installed WITH Maximillions WBFS Gui version and it works perfectly!

honestly guys.

what the "f" am i doing wrong? This program works to the extent, it lets me install a game onto the hard drive when its plugged in.

BUt when i connect the hard drive to the wii and loader the 1.1 usb loader, it doesnt see the game i just transfered over.

I can copy games from the wii to the hard drive. But again, when i plug that hard drive into the pc, it doesnt show up the game i just ripped from the disc. It only shows the game i previously ripped.

This is doing my nut in!!!

This thing is b0rked.
Renaming only works on the first ISO and moving from one drive to another does NOT work either.
I get "Type mismatch" when I try it.

I got my HDD to work.
I erased my total disk moved my files to my PC then reformated it and use the Active patition for the Wii seems there are some problems when I use a logic partition. I let Maximillions WBFS Gui TOOL format my drive to a Wii partition now everything works fine.

Can you make the window expandable so I can go full screen, the window is tiny on my notebook.

When i open it, I get my c:\ up with saying 'press here to create. you will lose data...'

But if in the drop down menu i swap to f:/ (my wii harddrive - all formatted as wbfs, no more partitions) nothing happens and that message stays up.

i dont wanna press init incase it wipes my c: lol

help please

I was wondering if you know anything about games disappearing off drives or being corrupt. I have noticed that some games that I have installed on my drive have come up missing. I have not had a corruption problem but definately games disappearing.

Other than that, I like your GUI, it works efficient and clean.

Can you add a function to add *.wad's to the WBFS-File-System and a feature to find out, how many place must be there on the WBFS-HDD for a ISO.

Nevertheless nice work!!!
