Hacking New Wii Update

1.3 Beta. This is what is says after updating the database:

Updating your database.xml from Wiibrew.org
- Database successfully parsed!
- Current Database Version: (9/29.1)
- Online Database Version: (9/29.1)
- You have the latest database version!

It evidently isn't updating anything because it only shows up to v17.

So just type 18 in the second part of it.

Sheesh.... now I feel really stupid. LoL!

I was just in the menu app for WiiSCU 0.22 and was just wondering if it will download the latest version 18 or 17..

I've installed the official and real 4.2 update (Nintendo) and after that I reïnstalled HBC and BootMii. Will this update remove those again?

No...but it'll overwrite the main cIOS again (249, 250, 222, 223) so if you use GeckoOS, Neogamma or a USB loader and the like you'll have to correct that.

yea, its easier to grab the newest shop channel wad [v18] with NUSD and install it

I just use the HBC for emulators and mplayer, so I'll be fine

be careful that it will remove Bootmii as well since boot2 gets updated. You will have to reinstall it.
I'd suggest simply using the updated Shop Installer if your only purpose is to get the free VC title....
