I don't have the exact post to c/p, but the gist of it is that Nintendo forgot to stub the Korean IOS' with their latest update. In the thread, WiiCrazy theorized that in order to mod 4.3U, all you need to do is install IOS41 v2835 (available from NUS), which should install fine using WAD Manager since it's an official IOS (not fakesigned). TBR is then loaded using IOS41 v2835, which it then uses to downgrade IOS15 and trucha patch IOS36.
The idea was tested by several folks and shown to work, at least on a Wii that was manually updated to SM4.3 using WADManager. There were a few issues with TBR crashing when selecting IOS41 or IOS15, however persistence usually pays off and it eventually works.
It seems like this method is a real way to get into SM4.3, not sure why it was deleted. Either way, we need a coder to look at the source of TBR and why it's crashing when selecting IOS41. Once it's more stable, a program could be created that downloads IOS41 v2835 from NUS, installs it, downgrades IOS15 and patches IOS36 all in one step.
It should even be possible to install HBC on 4.3U currently, by installing priiloader and the 'anti JODI block' hack so HBC doesn't get deleted, and also installing an older copy of IOS34 so that the HackMii installer v0.6 will work. I can't remember who suggested this in the other thread but it seems like a solid idea.
Anyways, I also wanted to add that this is largely uncharted territory (ie: proceed at your own risk), and to take everything I say with a grain of salt. I'm just reposting what I read last night before it was deleted, hopefully I got all the details right!
