Guys, no worry, USB Loaders should working fine if you have installed a USB Loader channel, right?

They work fine in Puneek so assuming they also work fine on a normal system if we're able to install the cioses.

QUOTE(jono@home @ Jun 22 2010, 09:28 PM) anyone care to put together a pack or tutorial on how to update the shop channel ?
I made a quick change of marc's 4.2 Shop Updater for myself, but I'm going to wait to see if he releases his own version before releasing it (it's a very simple hack, changing the IOS61 version to 5661 and shop version to 19 and fixing up a few message strings).

If it's not out in a day or two, I'll probably release my version (unless someone beats me to it, which honestly, I'd probably prefer).

I guess you can wait for Dop-Mii to update to the new database too. Then you just need to use it to update your shop channel to v19 and IOS61 to v5661.

Can't you get the wads from NUSD and install them with YAWMM?

But the update will NOT stub any cIOS if its version is 65535.

Man, I gotta play my Wii. I think I'm gonna later today, probably play some Cave Story and SMG2. Anyway, this update still doesn't make homebrew impossible to install. It sucks for all the people who used Riivolution.

Sorry if this has been asked before as I searched and Im sure its a noobie question, but...

This is my first update rodeo. I have 4.2U and had the blinking blue light. Didn't update.

Now, as seeing as the Wii knows there is an update available, if I just let it sit there and dont update, will I still be able to access my homebrew programs and play my backups just the same?

Just curious, I wasnt able to test it before I left for work this morning.

they didn't intentionally break Riivolution and as such the exploit wasn't really fixed. whether the update will be out soon will be seen later.

Bannerbomb v3 anyone?

are yo write it? They fixed the current implementaion "properly". a new exploit is needed

I have been thinking that it would be nice for people to buy a game for an exploit for a while.

I haven't seen this question asked yet, so I'm going to ask it. Doesthe official update stub IOS70?
I wanted to ask the same thing
I updated my database for NUSD (I can upload it if anyone needs it), but I couldn't find a new version for IOS70

Yes, but I'm not a big fan of telling people to use Wad Managers. They're too dangerous if they downloaded the wrong versions in NUSD.

I just used the NUSD self-update of the database and it states that the latest version of IOS70, v6912, is indeed a stub.

I can't do this myself right now, but could someone just download the latest IOS70 and check theveersion throughShowMiiWads?
