Hardware New Switch - use same SD card?

I’m getting a new unlatched Switch since the one I modded arrived with faults.

Can I plug in the SD card I used in the other system in the new Switch and boot up CFW? Or should I delete the Nintendo and emuMMC folder and start from scratch?

I hate to redownload games that I’d downloaded before. And to go through all the steps again.
