I'm pretty sure it's fully necessary both to install homebrew on the home screen and to ... well, sailing

no strictly necessary for legal acquired games, but is needed even for your legal games but dumped as a backup.

DBI is malware so i havent included it here nor in the homebrew pack i made

Is say by the programmer, he put malware code on the DBI to brick consoles if you mess with the translations!!

I wouldnt trust the russian version either
Cuz if it detects u are an english speaker in anyway itll execute brick code (i have witnessed it in action was a close call, i force shut down my switch to save it)

Because...it's listening? Reading file names? No denying the dev is a dbag, but I've been modding switches for a few years now and have yet to see a single brick I could trace back to dbi. Not to say something won't change in the future, but right now, it's the standard and the best we have. Awoo is filled with waifu bs. Goldleaf is just inconsistent for me. I'm sure some of it comes down to settings that can be tweaked or whatnot, but when you have something that just works, it's difficult to justify not using it.
