Oh yeah? And where are they? And are they all in English? We're not -that- spoiled, imo. Especially concerning the classic console rpg experience.....
You don't think? Shit all the Square Enix games seem bound for English release. Even the devs of this game have expressed interest of bringing out ALL of their games outside of Japan. Sonic Chronicles is done by an Western developer and IS being released in English.

Hmm, since this game is being made by some Clover developers and such, I actually have high hopes for this game. Clover has made great games in the past and who knows, they may make this into a great game as well.

you're talking about games still coming.

if you look at the english games we got right now, it isn't that much.
and unfortunately some of the nicer ones aren't announced for english release yet.(i want tales of innocence!)

The DS has a massive catalogue of games! People seem to think that TWEWY came out ages ago, and not in April.

Anyway next week we'll get Summon Night: Twin Age, Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift out later in June, Final Fantasy IV is out in July and then a ton of RPG's coming in September to December, you really can't say we're not spoiled compared to the RPG offerings on the other consoles.

You people are spoiled, seriously. First you complain and having too much to play and then you moan about not getting enough, get rid of your flashcart and you'll see how much the DS has.

I kid. But only just.

I strongly suspect that many developers feel (rightly or wrongly) that RPGs only started to really take off with a broader audience after they were able to add massive voiced FF7-style cutscenes to them every five steps. Therefore, they're more willing to make RPGs on the PSP with its far-looser space constraints (= more cutscenes, more voices) than for the DS. Additionally, 'traditional' RPGs are less able to take advantage of the DS touchscreen... we've obviously seen some games that make good use of it (Etrian Odyssey, TWEWY), but those are more risky than just making FF7 clone #3178 and putting it on the PSP.

We still get lots of good DS RPGs. But the PSP has seen a huge RPG explosion, largely because it's easier to make 'generic' console RPGs for it... DS RPGs have to be, I think, more risky.

Looks Pimptacular. ya it will be in english. i saw a smal blurb in GI and Nintendo Power about this amazing looking game.

Neat. But I don't know Jap

This means nothing unless a US release is announced =P Though I am excited for this, it looks great, but I've been disappointed by many a great-looking game only for it to stay Japanese and unplayable.
