Hacking New R4 Kernel..

I keep hearing about this new Kernel and how it's coming close. When is it due [expected] though? When I get my R4, I guess I'll just hold on to it and not play if it's really close by..unless it's REALLY easy to update Kernel's and such.

That's no longer funny, and it hasn't been for quite awhile. Anyways back on topic, the kernel will come when it comes. Besides, the update isn't like the download play one where EVERYONE is dying to get it. Just be patient, and it should be out before you know it.

K, just was wondering though. But I downloaded 1.11 anyway, full download play FTW!

Can you answer my previous question though? If I get the new new Kernel, will I have to re-download/add my themes to the R4? Or does it save those when you upgrade Kernels?

LAST question. My MicroSD [that i used to use on my phone] was file system FAT32. I reformatted to plain old FAT. Good decision?

IIRC, the kernel itself is just 3 or so files that go in the root, so if you just copy the ones that would extract to root (not ones in the system folder), you can keep your themes. So don't click extract all and you'll be fine.

I don't really think that the format type matters all that much. Ever since I got my MicroSD, I haven't even touched the format options at all. But just keep it at FAT.
