Hacking New R4 Clone DSi Compatabile :)

I was online at dealextreme and saw the "R4 Ultra sdhc" for $7 I went to its official site and saw that its written

R4 ULTRa REVOLUTION FOR DS/DSL/DSi

so what do u guys think about this new clone think its acctually going to work on the dsi I dont think so seeing that its so cheap for $7

yes i have the logo claims that it is dsi compatible but the cartridge and box dont have dsi wriiten on them thats why im in doubt

Whoever gets it will tell you. But remember, aside from Dealextreme possibly having to take back the units, who will be at los (aside from whoeever bought one) if they don't work with the DSi? If they sell a bunch of em and then close down no one will go and run off to get their money back for 7-8 dollars

I bought one. For $7, what the heck. I also emailed them to clarify that the DX link is their product and to see if they will indeed have DSi support.

is better to wait, because this r4 ultras with dsi support is only avaible by order as reseller now for about 25$ . i think they use different loader even the hardware is similar. as ak2 and ak2i , if old ak2 can support dsi, why people should still buy ak2i when ak2 cost 10$?

Irrespective of whether this cart works on the new DSi, I would still recommend avoiding anything related with R4 (official or clones), as it now appears the 'better' flashcart alternatives are/near developing new carts that will work on it.
