Gaming New PS3 System update 3.42

The DNS bypass won't work for me anymore

Starting this afternoon, PSN was updated, so previous bypass like the simple DNS change over to 67.202.81.137 has now been blocked, along with other forms of proxy tools like Logan5's program.

Oh well, it's not like PSJailbreak users go online anyways. Finding a new way around this would be cool though.

thaddius actually I do enjoy homebrew, used to meddle with it on GBA quite a lot, GB/C too. The problem is for every one person who uses it for legit homebrew, emulation, development purposes there's 10 other assholes who just steal shit left and right 100%. I used to work in the development of games back in the day so I get a bit pulled in both directions over it. Sure I like the idea it's out there for development, then I remember how much time of my life was wasted going over revision after revision of a game to then have as many stolen copies as legit paid for and I get bent out of shape over it so mentally I can't win.

3d movie update was scheduled to this month, and move will need a new FW probably too. I think next week a new FW will be released.

No I think it was before that, but I remember reading numerous news articles about it. 3.40 or 3.21 I think.

I don't know if this changelog is reliable, but it is the more comprehensive I could find and still no mention to move support.

I feel sort of bummed not being able to play my PS3 online.
