I have to ask will PowerPlay fix bricked copies of Pokemon X & Y? Since it specialized in Pokemon games and will PowerPlay support backing up Pokemon X & Y without the need of servers? One more thing will you have some kind of power to edit some of the game for example injecting wondercards?

Surely a blue pentagon will only make a pokemon kalos born at a glance? Anything that came through transporter will say from a far away land? Surely this wouldn't make it legit and would be blocked online?

The PowerPlay app is just the same as PowerSave as they are all from Datel. But PP only supports pokemon games.

I don't know for sure how it works, maybe those Pokemon PIDs will be changed to have Pentagon symbol

As for online play, with the Cyber Save Editor, its already broken....see this:

It will probably just change the region of the pokemon to be in X/Y

Lol. Another one of my vids made it on here. I didn't mean to show off, I was using it as a reference.

Thank you for showing that, though, Stedus. I can tell you now, through experience, that adding a Kalos Born insignia and even setting the Pokemon *such as Legendaries* or others from different regions as a Kalos Pokemon will NOT make them 'Legit'' but some can be traded.
You can use the KB code that Datel is going to release to give it a KB designation, however it's a set location meaning some of your Pokemon may not be able to be obtained through the region/specific area they're using to make it KB. The poster above is absolutely correct in the information he's given out. Datel is going to rise to the standard of Cyber Gadget, eventually, but for now you will be given specific 'special' treats.

Please be patient, and know that revisal or 'revisits' of older codes (to help with the illegitimacy) will be done in time, also the Team will be implementing new features for you to enjoy. I hope that everyone will allow Datel this chance to rise to the occasion and do what they can, for now, to match Cyber Gadget's Save Editor. It will not give you the same control that I and others have, but then again neither will the Advance Mode with CGSE without you knowing or translating specific codes. Not to mention the combination of PkHex and CGSE I use is modified from the original version, heavily, thus a lot of what I can do isn't publicly available either. That doesn't mean it cannot be replicated but I won't be the one to elaborate on the 'how to'.

To wrap this up, not everything displayed in the videos I allowed youtubers to take is obtainable right off the bat. To sum up my other points made, you will be given Nature, IV's, KB, and a few other treats to tide you over which is a lower grade of 'Pokegen.' Trust me when I say that Datel is working on a special project that will be coming (hopefully) before OR/AS is out with a specific mode that everyone's called on them to release. At least that is the game plan.

Hope this helps clear some misconceptions and brings confirmation to a few of the rumors.

Sincerely,
Lopunny

^Sorry for not clearly state my point about the video
I've seen many of your showcase videos about the Cyber Save, I know that what you are doing is just for ppl to see what the Cyber Save can do, that's all :D. Thanks to you I was able to see some pretty sweet moves :D especially Thousand Wave and Thousand Arrows

I also completely agree with you that Datel should limit the codes to some degree (IVs 0~31) and Natures modification. So people can still enjoy playing the game without making it too easy.

P/S: The KB Code might be used to edit those Non-Legend pokemons so that they can be played in some online tournament. I don't think people will use it for Legendary though :D

I wanted to make a small correction to that. I in no way believe in limiting the player-base, at all. I believe in giving the players the options to make the decisions themselves, be it good or bad, when it comes to modifying their game and how they use it. Some for malicious intent (online play) and others for adding a new Hackmon Tier or otherwise. Luckily, the Battle Spot is still a 'semi' protected bastion that will give players a slight ease of mind when it comes to illegible Pokemon with random moves, and abilities. Doesn't mean the Pokemon that seem Legit are Game-Generated Legal. Still, they can rest easy knowing they're fighting 510 EV's Pokemon with their set standards.

I in no way believe in suppressing the player base when it comes to devices like CGSE or PS. I believe that all options should be on the table for the players. It's their decision, ultimately, that will paint their playability persona as chill, hacky, or over blown. Personally, I'm a tried and true over blown type of Gal. I love to dominate my game and any I play, making the hard difficulty easy. Just my play style, just the way I like it, and I love all items at the beginning. Others may want the perfect Pokemon team. Some may want a team full of Megas. No device should restrict them. The players have all the right in the world to make that choice.

That's my thoughts on the matter. Giving power to the players is what I'm an advocate for but how they choose to use that power is completely up to them.

How everyone else perceives them is a different matter altogether. Every action has a reaction. Risk and Reward scenario with morality blended in.

Okay it's early/late, time for sleep.

Night.

Game's already easy if you know how to grind, and thanks to mansion near the daycare center, you can grind to your heart's content since the trainers respawn. Even without the IV code, I breezed through it.

PowerPlay 3DS is nothing special. I bought it a few weeks ago, around the same time I bought my CG. Thinking it was a new Powersaves, I was severely disappointed when I loaded it up to find it had the same codes as the original PowerSaves.
Sure it might focus on Pokemon only, but it has nothing to set it apart from Powersaves 3DS. Waste of money!

Would the KB code make a Pokemon legal to trade?

a little question:
if i apply max exp code on a pokemon in a box (for example a caterpie lv 10, turning him into a caterpie instalevel 100) will this code corrupt his legality? i mean, if i got this way a caterpie lv 100 will the moves he was not able to learn (cause the instant-lvup) and all the other things making him unlegit?
thanks

I don't think this would make it illegal, as you could quite plausibly just level it up to level 100 and have it not learn any new moves.

are you talking about decrypted saves?

Not sure if this is the right thread for this (but you do kinda use powersaves for this....) but im having issues decrypting saves. I get all the way upto using that bruteforcer, but then my computer keeps throwing "Unhandled Exception" errors at me
