ROM Hack New powersaves 3ds thread

My Powersaves does not run since weeks. If I try to backup my Pokemon games, it searches for codes, then it gives me an error. And that`s it. I cannot do anything at all.

“The web operation failed” error may be caused by one of the following:
  • Communications between the software and server timed out – Some games with large or complex save files, like Animal Crossing: New Leaf or Pokemon X & Y, may take some time to upload/download.
    • Be sure you’re using the latest version of the 3DS Power Saves software.
    • Verify that no other applications are downloading or streaming data from your computer to ensure adequate bandwidth.
    • Close the Power Saves software, then reopen it & try again.
  • Poor network connectivity.
    • Close the Power Saves application and open it up again.
    • Be sure you have an active and stable network connection.
  • Antivirus or Firewall softwaremay be preventing the 3DS Power Saves from communicating with the Datel Servers.
    • Close the Power Saves application, disable Antivirus / Firewall software, then launch the Power Saves software again.
Other possible ways to remedy the issue:
  • Shut down and restart your PC.
  • Right mouse click on the software and choose “Run as administrator”
  • Try using a different USB port on your PC (not MAC compatible).
  • Try using a different USB cable.

Not sure how new (if even new at all), but now you also can look what codes are available for the listed games (just click on one of the games and a window with the cheats pops up).

I think that has been needed for quite a while.....no more "what new codes for Pokemon I am away for 3 days" etc.....well there will be but at least there is so where to direct people to

Is that the full list of codes? Or just the latest....if there is no way to see a full list you can see the game serial Here which will help you locate the game if it's not in that list

So for example a link between worlds is CTR-BZLP so opening (remove the CTR- from the serial)

Hi, does anyone know if the wondercard darkrai can ever have 5IV's? ive been resetting for a while and i keep getting 3

It's possible. Just getting any 5IVs of 31 is 1 in 1,024 chance. If you calculate the Nature you want, and IVs you want for each 5 of the stats... then it's 1 in 512,000 chance.

Best I've got was a Timid with 31/x/25/31/31/31 IV spread.

wow... i didnt know it was that hard :( would you mind trading me it so i can clone it or you can trade me a cloned one?

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
