It's probably a server problem. Mine works, but I've had this issue before. It took 2 days for mine to work again.

You never have been able to trade event Pokemon on the GTS. The attached ribbons block them. Never tried the SPRING Magmar that came without a ribbon temporarily though.

To answer K1RO, the other Wonder Card pokemon are tradeable. As a matter of fact, when I see people begging for a Zard stone or Chic stone, I trade them the Powersaves hack along with it. Heck, even the badly done, original torchic edit trades over wi-fi. Now the last time that I did this was some time ago, but as long as nothing has changed, the event wonder card edits trade over Wi-Fi like normal (except the "fake" Diancie one.)

Ok thanks, I was going to SR for the Event Darkrai with at least 4IVs and a good Nature. If I wasn't able to trade it, I didn't want to waste my time on it lol.

Have fun doing it and just be patient. It really helps to have Bank as well. I farmed Diancie during the original code launch. You can get 4 and 5 IVs for certain. It does take some work though.

I was lucky enough though to have a friend in Japan who got a legit one though that was near perfect (4 IV + remaining IV stat was 28 or 29.) Just goes to prove that it can be done.

Does anyone have a spare X/Y game they could use to start a new file in Japanese and receive a Diancie via Powersaves, then trade it over to me?
Since I'm pretty sure the Diancie would count as being English as well as having an English name if it was received on an English save file, so it would have to be received on a Japanese save file.

I don't know if it does. I wouldn't think so, but that is just based on my belief and no factual data.

This. Also, theres no need to start over your game for it. Just change your game to Japanese and receive Diancie. Diancie's OT isn't your's to begin with but you'll have to use the region modifier code.

Nope. As of the time of this message, the other Diancie available on the NA servers is the "Diancie - (FAKE - See Instructions)" which will not trade over Wi-Fi.

Edit: It is nowhere near as bad as the first Torchic. They actually used info on Bulbapedia to construct a close to legit one. However, the Trainer Secret ID is wrong which is most likely what is getting it blocked.

It is currently 6:37 AM in Japan. They usually will start to filter into the American forums about 24-72 hrs. I look for this one to be closer to 24 hrs or less since it is easily obtained and will be in high demand. Expect to pay out the nose for them to start with. Just remember that even though it can seem very selfish of some traders in the very early going to only want to trade for other natures, there is a reason. In order to get newer events, they have to trade for stuff and squirrel a few things away in reserve to act as trade bait for the next event. Now having somebody extort their first born from somebody is a different story though, especially if the event has been out for awhile.

I would expect their to be a common one settle out rather rapidly. Usually there is a trend for one to become common in 72 hours (usually the first one that pops up on the forum.) Once that happens, the trade value of that one plummets, and you get an affordable Diancie.

It depends. They have done so as fast as 72 hrs and then there are some that they have still yet to release (some of the birthday ones.) I would expect them to expedite it though and as soon as they find somebody posting one, they will salvage it for themselves.

Whenever they detect a new wondercard ID they get super happy as they just made new content with next to no effort. They didn't like it when we injected fake wondercards
