New phone, s5 or z3 compact

Just a quick thread, because as of writig this, im traveling. I just need helpn to choose between samsung galaxy s5 and sony xperia z3. I realy like that the s5 has infrared and larger, better screen, but can you help me decide. Maybe some of you have one of the phones. I currently have an iphone 4, a bricked ipod 4, a galaxy tab 3 8.0 and a galaxy y. Im very familiar with both android and ios, and would just like your oppinion

Hmm...Well, when it comes down to specs, both are practically identical besides screen size and the Z3's screen is only 720p. Most reports say the Z3 has the better battery life compared to the S5, so if you use your phone a good amount and aren't ever near a charger that could come in handy...Other than that it'd be up to personal choice, I'd personally pick the S5 simply because I've never had any bad experiences with Samsung's phones and I prefer having a physical home button.
