Hardware New Nintendo 2DS XL Initial System Version

Pikachu 2dsxl...... does any1 know the firmware these ship with in the states?
Wifey wants to get kids 1 but....... need to know if she wants it for me or the kids, cuz I'm a tinkerer.

if you refer to the dsiware, I mean, it's like $2? not a heavy loss considering you get cfw.

you can install homebrew in any version. Every N2DSXL was assembled in june 2017 and the initial firmware is 11.4.0-37, at least on mine. My American system was assembled on june 18 and the SoC was manufactured on march 31 by the way.
