I only buy third party hardware if the prices are really good. A year ago I bought 2 GC-controllers for 30 euro (together), that's a better price that the usual 40 euro you had to pay for a standard GC-controller.

For a third or fourth controllers it is good enough.

I'm thinking it's just a sleeve for the normal 'chuck? considering the price anyway.

But lemme say this. If they are in stock (unlike the authentic remotes) I'm gonna buy one. Its been 2 months since the thing came out and the only thing left in stores is the USELESS classic controller. The Wii really shines as a party console, and I WANNA PLAY TWO PLAYER GAMES ALREADY!!!!

You can order remotes from play-asia.com for only a little more than retail and shipping is usually cheap. Or just order them on Nintendo's site. $5 shipping for a 'chuck for me.

I know it will take a while to arrive, but a store worker in BestBuy or CircuitCity (can't remember which) told me that Ninty was fulfilling their online orders and then sending whatever they had left to their retailers, so that's why we haven't seen a remote in a store since launch (more than likely). So maybe ordering from Ninty directly is the fastest option...

MadKatz is well known for making some of the lowest quality peripherals on the market. Their controllers are typically made from very cheap plastic that not only breaks very easily, but just feels bad. As in, it feels too light, bends easy, and isn't quite aligned correctly. Also, more importantly, the internal components are cheap, and are likely to fail, hence "busted" controllers.

Don't even get me started on their cheap memory cards...

So, yea, that controller not only looks ugly as sin itself, but will most likely be total garbage.

Funny, my third party NGC controller lasted way longer than the first party one. It's not always the case, first party is not always better.

Please stop bashing the product before it even hits the market. I have 4 Madcatz Dreampads for my DC and they are the best DC pads ever. Even rated higher than the official Sega pads. I agree that the memory cards are sucky....but the the controllers are damned good.

If I ever became a third party distributor of wiimotes, i would make it into a regular button-smashing type controller, where you could connect the two and separate them. I wouldn't make it look like a sextoy.
I agree with skull statue. I bought 1 N64 controller from them. The top of the control stick fell off so i was pushing a needle with my thumb

i just threw it away yesterday. (was broke like 4 weeks after buying so i couldn't return it)
