i am 90% sure this is fake, when the iphone was leaked it showed XXGB on the back where this one says DVT-1 , also this one is wrapped in plastic where the iphone was in a case to disguise it as a 3gs and there is np way apple would give that a new software display thingy because the ipad and iphone still use the one used on all others as well as this also (again) with the iphone they could not turn it on it only showed connect to itunes screen once connected it would be detected as an iphone and not be able to find a suitable firmware for it.

you can also look up touch screen mp3 with camera and find multiple look alikes on ebay

EDIT: also this dosnt have the updated volume buttons and the shape is different

EDIT2: unless their trying to stop having the ipod touch look so similar to the iphone

if your talking about the black oval on the back (top left) its the light sensor for auto adjustment of screen brightness.

*facepalm* no. its a diagnostics menu NOT A FIRMWARE its used to check the functionality of the devices features hence when the button is pressed the button on the screen lights up to show its working >_>

Yah the light sensor is the little purple dot above the screens (you can only see when you're ipod's in bright light).

Defintately not worth a second thought if all that's new is a camera.

Needs improved RAM since mine seems to not want to play music and most apps at the same time when it's sort of it's JOB. ._.

I was thinking of getting an iPod Touch, hopefully I'll be able to find the Gen 3 ones for a bit cheaper once this is out. Not interested in a crappy camera at all.

Well iphone camera could only take pictures until you download a video camera app from what I gathered, so It's a safe bet that the same app would be on ipod touch. Still gonna be like 2/3 mp. realistically going off what they slammed in the iphones, not worth the money or effort.
