I really can't wait.
This game looks awesome. It plays well. The music is pleasing to the ears and it looks good. Sonic 4 was awesome. Sonic Colours looks awesome! Awesome 2D and 3D Sonic games. I'm happy!

Interesting...It looks like its just a modified Sonic Unleashed engine and all day time levels...

And that's more than okay with me.

Sega looks to be trying their hand at a mostly no-frills Sonic gameplay mechanic. He starts off running, and only stops for some light platforming segments, keeping the gameplay fast and smooth throughout. It'll be interesting to see what sorts of ways Sega switches up the gameplay using its wisp features.

Well, that depends, since the DS version runs on the Sonic Rush engine.

Anyways, this game is really looking great, and for once, they didn't make a completely new engine for just one game as they have been doing for the past 9 years. See, this is what happens when Sonic Team actually has time to make levels and improve the gameplay instead of having to make a new engine.

Well, that and pretty much having the whole team replaced after '06 didn't hurt either.
