Hacking New games on Formware 4.5

Hi, I've been out of the Gateway scene for a while now, I was enjoying my Sky3ds. I wanted to play some of the newer games (Animal Crossing & Chibi Robo) on my Old 3ds (Firmware 4.5 USA) using my Gateway card. I downloaded Gateway Ultra 3.4.1, but both games just hang on the title screen. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong, or how to fix it??

Just curious, has anyone been able to play Zelda Tri Force, Animal Crossing - Home Designer or Chibi Robo on an O3ds with firmware 4.5 or below??
