So Capcom released a new trailer for the new "oh so" dreaded Devil May Cry game being developed by Ninja Theory. This new trailer brings Dante's brother Virgil back into the mix. The trailer shows Dante displaying slight amnesia only remembering that their brothers and nothing else. It's seeming like DmC is starting look like a reboot more and more as information is being revealed by Capcom. Moreover, with the inclusion on Virgil it seems Capcom wants fans to know that this game will still be the series everyone knows and loves. What do you think? Will Virgil's inclusion clear you doubts about rebooting the series?

UPDATE: Here some more tidbits about Virgil's character in this game.

• He's a multi-millionaire
• Head of "The Order"
• Parents were killed by demons

I am so excited for this. I have been with the series since day 1 and 11 years later, it still holds its luster for me. The new story could be oh, so very good and the gameplay and design are already promising. January 17 can't come soon enough.

Nowadays though if something isn't active for like a couple of years it needs to be rebooted apparently. It's pretty fucking stupid considering DMC4 wasn't that long ago and DMC is still popular with its original style and shit. It got both Dante and Vergil into MvC3 (well UMvC3). Like I really don't understand the change in art outside of developers being fucking retarded. You won't attract anyone new with this and it's just turning off old fans.

Actually, the third entry in the Twilight series was called Eclipse, not Breaking Dawn. That was the fourth book in the series, so your joke makes no sense.

That might be because I'm not a huge DMC fanboy though, I don't mean that in a negative way, it's just that I never really liked the series, I beat 3 and 4 but they were both rather boring. This one looks like a fun game and that's all that matters to me.
