New 'Devil Survivor' video!

"Atlus has unveiled a new gameplay video of its upcoming simulation-RPG for the Nintendo DS called Megami Ibunroku Devil Survivor, scheduled for January 15 in Japan."



Now, is it just me, or did anyone else feel like they were watching a sequel to "It's a Wonderful World"?

Seems like any other SMT game to me.

The gist of the video is that all of Tokyo has been barricaded and you have 7 days until the city is completely destroyed. The game involves forming pacts with devils and summoning them to battle. In TWEWY you have to form a pact with a partner, and you have to survive for 7 days, so there are a few similarities. But I noticed that the Japanese like stories that involve bad things happening in 7 days. Everyone knows about The Ring, and I've been playing Nanashi no Game, which involves a game that kills you 7 days after you play it.
