Through a bit of 'CV hunting' by superannuation, its been discovered that Crytek, the brains behind the Crysis series and the original Far Cry game, are working on a "New IP, shooter genre, TBA title for Xbox360, PS3 and PC (1 year)". It's also been revealed that a third person shooter was in development, but was cancelled after half a year.[/p]

Doubt it, then it wouldn't be a new IP.

That's what I thought when everyone was getting excited about it possibly being TS in the news site I read this.

I hope it's good. I don't like any of their current ones.

[IMG] Of course it's possible but I, for one, wouldn't expect it to happen.

Something has been bothering me. People always say "a new IP," but IP stands for "Intellectual Property." Thus, it wouldn't make sense to say "a new Intellectual Property," but rather just "X company may be presenting new IP."

The topic title obviously doesn't offend, but I've seen it all over these forums when people are talking about IP.

Hopefully they port it to Wii U or so. This is what the Wii U promised to do, third party games. Bit disappointed to see the standard platforms in this announcement again.
