Well, they did say they'll stay true to the original.....They even featured option of playing only on one screen....
I believe this will be the first NDS game with it..

Yeah but doesn't Square Enix always enhance the graphics of any retro games the re-release onto the DS. I mean look at what they did to Final Fantasy 3 and 4...

Whilst this is an "enhanced port" of sorts, no graphical changes have been made.


Besides, Chrono Trigger would probably look disgusting on that engine. A lot of detail would probably be lost. Graphics are fine as they are.
