Hacking New Adventure Island NTSC wad still won't work on NTSC wii

I tried the PAL and I read it didn't work b.c it needed to be patched. I try out the NTSC Wad today and it still goes back to the wii home screen. anyone know how to get this running on my 3.2 ntsc wii?

insatall the needed IOS of the game...!!

what ios is that? I feel like it might be 35 but just making sure. Also - can i just use the wad installer to do the 35 ios or do i need to patch the wad itself?

just install these 3 wads through wad manager. Google is your friend.

IOS38-64-v3609.wad
IOS53-64-v4113.wad
IOS55-64-v4633.wad

if you are at 4.0 and install those wads, you are good to go.
