Hardware new 3ds XL/LL buttons quality

Sometimes i feel like the A button's gonna wear out very soon cause most games use it a lot,meanwhile X Y are not used very often .
I know everything's gonna wear out overtime ,just want to ask anyone here has it for like 1 or 2 years and play a lot about the durability of the buttons tho

Late reply. No one can precisely answer how long the (A) button will last on the n3DSXL. This all depends on how aggressive you play. Some people manage to fix their buttons by reseating the golden contact patches.

The good news is that the n3DSXL design has a YXBA daughterboard where you can replace it.

While I can't directly answer your question for the N3DSXL (this thing is still too new for long time experience and I'm going easy on mine), most Nintendo things are durable:

• Heavily abused GBA-SP (from the flea market) with similar buttons: All working
• O3DSXL, I've used it very much since 2012, amongst others with NES platformers which can make the player quite aggressive: All buttons working (including "A").
  
• Game Boy Color, with this silicon conductive rubber things (don't know what's the name of these). Has been used by my mum since 1998 for countless hours of Dr. Mario. End of 2017 the silicon broke/teared, probably due to age. I replaced them (cost: 2€) and the Game Boy is like new. Same for the original Game Boy (DMG-001).

There have been some complains about not working shoulder buttons on 3DS systems. These are easy to replace (not on 2DS systems).

Only two things come to my mind that are not durable, both N64: The control stick wears out easily and the capacitors inside some of the power supplies failed by now. But N64 came out 1996, so that's two decades for the capacitors; not that bad.

The good news is that the n3DSXL design has a YXBA daughterboard where you can replace it.
