Hardware New 3ds XL EU Downgrade

Hi

if I upgrade a new 3ds xl ( 10.6 EU ) right now ( is it yet possible to upgrade 10.6 with nintendo server maintenance ?), is it possible to downgrade (I have cubic ninja) .

I dont know cause it's a 3ds XL not a normal one... could you please give me a hint...?

Why do you want to upgrade to 10.6?

Anyway you can use cubic ninja with 10.6 and downgrade.
You are lucky that a new downgrade method was released a few days ago.

It works on 9.3 and up. No need to update. Also I'm 99% firmware wise and xl model is the same as the non xl model.

Tell me your current firmware.

With the first downgrade method, released around x-mas, you were able to downgrade with firmware range 9.3-10.3
I was on 9.5 in my 3ds xl and was able to downgrade without any issues.

9.9.0-26E ? is it ok to downgrade with the memchunkhax3 (out two days ago compatible 10.6)?

Well you can use the previous downgrade method that works with firmwares 9.3-10.3

Well you are gonna need cubic ninja or ocarina of time on 10.6 since menuhax/browserhax have been patched.
I don't know if the new method will work for 9.9


My suggestion is to downgrade with your current firmware and not 10.6
If you follow exactly the guides and you can have the correct files then everything will be ok.


You can wait for other opinions too.

Just use this version of sysupdater and you'll be able to proceed with the downgrade.
