That's the one you need to follow not the ones that have been pulled
now that I'm in 11.5 on my OLD 2DS, does it mean I've got to upgrade my New 2DS xl to be on the same firmware in order the hack to work ?
btw I bought the calendar countdown ;)

Is it possible 2 use a sky3dscard and ninjhax -> get homebrew on the new 2DS and from there downgrade from 11.4 to 11.3 or below?

No, you can't install CFW from homebrew alone on 11.4 and 11.5, that's blocked. You need DSiWare with a hacked save or a hardmod to get the access.

Thanks for the fast reply! I don't have a Seconds 3DS anymore and bought a new 2DS. Is it still possible 2 downgrade it from 11.4 or do you really need a second New3ds of is there a way to get cfw without a second 3ds?

Downgrading requires CFW to do so. as of right now. No there is no means to get cfw without a 2nd hacked console or a hardmod

well I'm back ...
"
  1. Press (A) to select the offset 00000000
  2. Press (A) to unlock SysNAND writing, then input the key combo given
  3. Press (B) to go back to the main menu
  4. Navigate to [2:] SYSNAND TWLN -> title -> 00030004 -> (8 Character ID)
  5. Navigate to data
  6. Press (A) on public.sav
  7. Select “Mount as FAT image”
  8. Press (B) to go back to the main menu
  9. Navigate to [0:] SDCARD
  10. Press (Y) on the file(s) in the savedata folder to copy them
    • If there is a savedata folder inside of the savedata folder, it is not by mistake. You should copy the second savedata folder, not the files inside of that.
  11. Press (B) to go back to the main menu
  12. Navigate to [7:] FAT IMAGE
  13. Use the (X) button to delete everything inside of FAT IMAGE
  14. Press (Y) to paste a copy of the contents of the savedata folder to FAT IMAGE
  15. Select “Copy path(s)”
  16. Press (A) to unlock image writing, then input the key combo given
in FAT image now I've got only on file (and no folder SAVE) : savedata.bin (step 14)
I choose then "copy path(s) but I can't apply the step 16, I can't see the "Press A to unlock image writing" ... is it normal ?
ON step 2, I got it to unlock SysNAND writing but as not mentionned in the tuto, I did not lock back.

UP : seems OK, let's move on.

You need to copy the save not the folder. Also its normal if you didn't relock it earlier

some of the best selling games on the switch are wii u ports (that are priced way too high
like come on 60 for a game thats a decade old??)

@ColdBlitz, i forgot breath of the wild released for the Wii u
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
$60 for a game that's a decade old might be unheard of on PC but actually is not uncommon on consoles

especially Nintendo because they only ever lower the price of games when they do a greatest hits/platinum hits/players choice re-release
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@The Real Jdbye, and the HD collections released for 7th gen consoles too
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but they don't seem to have done any of those for the switch yet and maybe never will
  • ColdBlitz @ ColdBlitz:
I think we all forgot breath of the wild released for the wii u tbh

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@The Real Jdbye, tbh the HD collections are more justified since they include more than just 1 game per copy
