Homebrew Network play for SNES emulators?

Many many snes PC emulators support multiplayer through network but are there any advances on this subject for DS emulators?

By network I mean local network, nothing complicated like online through Wi-Fi or anything like that.

I'd love to play Seiken Densetsu 3 with my friend on the go.

To my knowledge, and experience, it doesn't even work on snemulds, so it wont play anyway. Sorry to break the news to you, but i was pretty sad over it too.

Seiken Densetsu 3 tries to boot if you tinker around with the speedhacks and such, but it's entirely unplayable and you have to constantly fiddle with things to get it to play (slowly too).

Wireless multiplayer for SnemulDS? VERY unlikely.
