netpass is actively breaking my games it courupts everything it streetpass with if I hover over the streetpass item I got from netpass in Tomodachi life it courupts my save and crashes the game somebody please fix this before I go insane I cant even load smash bros anymore

Might likely not be a Netpass issue, but a malformed Streetpass save someone shared on netpass. Pretty much all games supporting Streetpass can be affected by a malformated Streetpass save, to cause different amount of issues, the most common is a corrupted save, but it can be made into an RCE entry exploit to do anything on it, like deleting save or else.

I would still suggest you to report it on yhe netpass gitlab project page, but it seems the maintainer has been dormant since the gbatemp thread for Netpass was locked, and as since updated it. I do not know if Netpass can or has the ability to strip incorrect streetpass saves data, or if it could be a genuine issue with Netpass itself.
