Hacking NES DS

Here is my NES style DS Lite I was looking at some of the other Mods and got inspired. I tried to make it look like the original NES sorry about the low quality pics but all I have is a camera phone, I will try to get some better pics once I borrow a better camera. I hope you like it

How did you make it? Did u take a bunch of other skins and hand cut them, or is that electrical tape or paint?

HOLY COW!! My jaw dropped about a foot when I saw that pretty piece of portable gaming heaven! How did you do it? You're gonna need to make a step-by-step guide.

I made it from sheets of vinyl and cut and trimed the shapes. I didn't want to paint it since I may want to chance it someday I also didn't want to take my DS apart.

It maybe hard for me to make a tutorial because I really just experimented with it. But I will try to make a template for the top and face of it.

you did a really good job. the buttons are vinyl cutouts too?

The Dpad is covered in vinyl but the other buttons are painted with sealer so it won't rub off.

I saw that DS too that's why I'm glad I didn't paint mine

I'm gonna get my girlfriend to do that to mine. Shes working with vinyl in her art class and maybe she can use it for her final project or somthing.
