Hacking NeogammaR7/8 - black screen

First of all, i've searched the forum and google and im stuck. The main problem is that i can't run any Neogamma at all. The program just give me a blackscreen, that ain't right? Tried R3, R7, R8-beta(7).

Do i need to patch my IOS? My wii are PAL, I have a WiiKey (probl. v 4/5) and my system is 4.2/IOS70 (never patched my wii's IOS-es)
I rather not patch my IOS, afraid to get it bricked.

Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong here? I copy my neogamma .dol-file to: Root\apps\neogamma
and load it trough HBC and bam.. black-screen and have to manually shutdown holding the power.

    I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

    Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

    Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
